Hi Jenny, yes that is fine. The lessons will be on a piano, but it would be suitable for you to practice on a keyboard at home. I am happy to give you advice about different types of keyboards when you come for your first lesson. Many thanks, Hilda.

Hi, how many lessons would you recommend for a beginner? Thanks.

For a beginner, I would recommend weekly lessons. Usually signing up for 1 school term is useful (9-10 weeks) and if you're enjoying the lessons you can carry on for a second term. But 2-4 lessons is a good opportunity for beginners to give it a go to see if they like it and want to continue. I'm happy to discuss your goals and what you want to achieve from the lessons when you come for the first lesson (e.g. whether you want to do piano exams, whether you are preparing for a concert, or whether you are just learning for fun, etc).

Hi Hilda, what time (day or evening) do you conduct the classes and when can one start the classes? I note you've written term 3 begins July 25...

Classes can be arranged to suit you - there are various times available during the week. Students often take a break from lessons during the school holidays and resume lessons when the new school term starts, but you can start lessons at any time during the term.
