@Oleg Demeshev, thanks for your question. We can not provide an exact timeframe when the Advanced Meter would be installed, but we can confirm that until one is installed we will always get an Actual contractor read as long as access is available.

If we join, do we have to have your "Advanced Meter" installed? or do you use our existing Smart Meter, which was installed by or current provider in October 2014. An actual read is difficult for us, as we have a padlocked gate and friendly happy pitbull (that people do not assume is friendly or happy) :-)

How long does it take for the credit check and switch to be completed? I have applied on the 1st of Sept and still waiting for confirmation.

@Danni Pita, Thanks for your query. Energy Online can read most smart meters remotely so if this is the case we will not be required to send a contractor out to gain readings. If you would like to make sure we can read your meter remotely before signing up, please let us know what area you are in. Thanks!

Actually i switched back to powershop when I realised that all prices were gst excluded. Big mistake I would have been 20 bucks worse off each month even counting in the fat 20%. Get rid of your daily charge and then will start being competitive
