It does state the following in the deal:
"Please note that travel does not need to be completed by the 31st of December. In order to get the 50% discount you need to have purchased the insurance before then." We are just checking out if there is a latest date for the travel dates themselves on this :)

The merchant has advised that Travel does not need to be completed by the 31st of December. In order to get the 50% discount you need to have purchased the insurance before then – you must know where you are going, for how long, when you are leaving and when you are returning :)
