Gizaya - Yes you can. Please note the harbour explorer only runs on fine days. Call 04 494 3339 in the morning to see if the explorer is running (this is the only ferry that calls into Petone).
Michelle - Yes you can do this trip in reverse.

Lucille Cornell commented over 9 years ago Looking at the conditions it says this deal is for same day return. When looking into standard Ferry tickets to Somes it only shows a return option. We had hoped to travel by ferry to Somes and stay overnight (subject to availability) then ferry back next day. Can these vouchers be used this way?

I want to gift two children tickets to a friend (we are taking their children with us) but the offer won't let me gift two children tickets without purchasing an adult ticket, and I have already done our purchase, and reached max, so can I just get them an adult ticket and use for their two children? East By West from East By West Ferries - Wellington commented over 8 years ago Hi Rebekah, yes they can be used from Seatoun to Somes Island - please note the ferry only runs from Seatoun to Somes Island on the weekends and only when the harbour explorer is running.
Hi Natalie, Yes that is fine - just explain to the crew that you were told it was okay to do it this way.
