Built in 1915, this WW1 Memorial steam locomotive is beautifully and aesthetically iconic for its time. The locomotive was renamed "Passchendaele in 1917, in memory of the famous 1917 Battle of Passchendaele, and the carriages are refurbished heritage carriages built in the same period as the locomotive. Your steam train journey through Marlborough starts at Picton Railway Station which is conveniently located across the road from the Picton i-Site.
